Our Mission

HFRLA’s mission is to preserve and protect the High-Fishtrap-Rush Lakes and surroundings which include the headwaters of the Manitowish River for today and future generations.

The Association will work to enhance the water quality, biological integrity, fishery, public recreation, boating safety, and aesthetic values of the HFR area.

Take the High-Fishtrap-Rush Lake Survey!

Hello! The High-Fishtrap-Rush Lake Association is conducting a survey to better understand the interests and needs of our members, our business supporters and everyone who vacations on or visits High, Fishtrap and Rush lakes.

This survey is completely anonymous. It takes about 12 minutes to complete. If you leave the survey before completing it, use the survey link (below) to go back to where you left off.
Feel free to share this survey link with other HFR lake residents and visitors. But please note that the survey can only be taken once from each electronic device (phone, tablet or computer).
Your participation in this survey is very important! Data from the survey will help the HFRLA Board continue to steward and preserve the beauty of this vital natural resource for future generations.
Thank you, again, for your participation! We value your input.
