HFRLA sends out quarterly newsletters via email to its membership. We gladly accept stories, photos, news and events that are relevant to our lakes and the surrounding communities.

Annual Meeting
We hold our HFRLA annual meeting each year on the last Saturday of the month of June. The 2025 Annual Meeting is scheduled for June 28 at 9:00 AM at the Boulder Junction Community Center. The formal business meeting generally runs from 9 AM to 10:30 AM and is followed by an interesting guest speaker.
We have a long tradition of closing the meeting with an informal, potluck picnic in the pavilion behind the community center - bring a dish to pass if you'd like! The Association will be providing burgers, brats, hotdogs and buns.
Minutes of meetings, agendas, nominees running for board of director positions, etc. will be posted in this section.
Volunteer Opportunities
We're always looking for individuals who have an interest in participating in association activities. If you have the time, you will find such participation will be very rewarding from a stewardship, social, and educational basis. These opportunities include board positions, boat landing monitoring, loon-watch/ranger activities, citizens water quality testing, adopt-a-shoreline invasive plant species monitoring, and any other activity you may feel promotes the health and well being of our lakes.
